Herbert Stephan KG has always been deeply rooted in the Idar-Oberstein region. As one of the larger employers in the jewelry and gemstone industry, we are aware of our responsibility – and we embrace it with pride and care. Our strong regional ties are also reflected in our local engagement. We collaborate closely with vocational schools to provide our apprentices with a solid education. Additionally, we maintain close relationships with general education schools and regional authorities to actively promote education and training. Beyond that, we regularly support clubs and initiatives, particularly in the fields of education, amateur sports, and fire services.

For our managing directors, Bernd and Kathrin Stephan, social engagement is a personal priority. In addition to their entrepreneurial work, they volunteer in various regional organizations. We also encourage this commitment within our company: Our employees receive special support for their voluntary work – whether through paid leave or special vacation days.
